What this protocol is for
This protocol covers the full mineral supplementation schedule for both White Shrimp (L. vannamei) and Tiger Shrimp (P. monodon), from pre-stocking through harvest. In-culture dosing begins on Day 14 and is adjusted by stocking density and culture phase. Three products are used: MinGro+, MinGroX, and ShellGro.
Primary Objective
Provide minerals to support moulting, osmotic balance, and shrimp growth across all stocking densities.

All pond types, White Shrimp and Tiger Shrimp, from pre-stocking through harvest.

Do not use lime, dolomite, or zeolite.

Do not exchange water. Top up with treated water only for evaporation losses.

Step-by-step instructions

Pre-stocking mineral application
Before stocking, dissolve MinGro+ and apply between 9 and 11 am using aerators for even distribution. For White Shrimp (L. vannamei), apply at 5 kg per acre. For Tiger Shrimp (P. monodon), apply at 7.5 kg per acre.
