Mission

Critical knowledge about disease management, genetics, and systems design was locked in academic journals. The producers who needed it most couldn't access it. Doctor Shrimp was founded to change that.
Today, our faculty and research teams collaborate with farms, institutions, and governments across 18 countries.

2012
Doctor Shrimp founded in Bangkok, Thailand.
2014
First cohort of 40 students completes the Hatchery Fundamentals program.
2016
Research division established; first peer-reviewed publication.
2018
Expansion into Southeast Asia, South America, and the Middle East.
2020
Online learning platform launched; global reach exceeds 12 countries.
